At Walters' Farm, we believe that your wedding should be a day of great joy and celebration, and that your lasting memories should be the smiling, laughing faces of friends and family, and not the frustrations with caterers, a stain on the linen, or a shortage of china for appetizers.
A wedding at Walters' focuses on a relaxing, family atmosphere where people can be themselves. We have an attractive, outdoor wedding area by the pond, or you may select any number of beautiful areas around the farm for your wedding setting.
Following the ceremony, you may, if you choose, offer your guests a reception or a meal in our open dining area, which is undercover but open to the outdoors so that families can still watch their children at play. This area contains 30 picnics, and we also have a nearby pavilion which holds an additional 10 picnic tables. You are welcome to arrange for additional tents, tables, and chairs.
We have a certified kitchen and serving facility and will 
be happy to discuss your food options. Many guests enjoy our country cuisine, with delicious barbeque, baked beans from our giant cast iron hanging pot, cole slaw, potato salad, and of course our signature pumpkin roll dessert!
And after the wedding and dinner, there's no need for everyone to go home!
The Walters' Farm has acres of family fun and entertainment, including the giant jumping pillow, paddle boats on the pond, the O'Play Barn and Corral, Mountain Boo with its underground slide, and 
a leisurely walk along a branch of the Walnut River. If you are not familiar with our farm, we are also known as the Walters' Pumpkin Patch, known throughout the El Dorado, Wichita and Emporia area for great family fall fun.
